Job summary

Reed Further Education seeks an experienced Teacher of Mechanical Engineering to join a leading education provider on a temporary basis in Derby. The role covers delivering Level 3 Mechanical Engineering lessons and supporting learners to achieve qualifications as part of a dynamic curriculum.

Candidates should have a Mechanical Engineering degree, an assessor qualification and prior teaching experience, plus strong communication and classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• A Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA) or equivalent.
• Previous teaching, training or lecturing experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• DBS or willing to obtain one.

• Deliver Mechanical Engineering lessons to Level 3 learners.
• Teach some Mathematics as part of the curriculum.

Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teacher of Mechanical Engineering to join a leading education provider on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Engineering professional with teaching experience to deliver engaging lessons to Level 3 learners and support them in achieving their qualifications.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)

• Ability to motivate and support learners to achieve their potential
• Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
