Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in Worksop to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment up to Level 3 across mechanical engineering, maintenance, mechatronics and machining programmes.

The role is ideal for an experienced engineer moving into education or an existing tutor seeking a new challenge. It is a permanent role, 22.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £32,199 plus a £5,000 Market Force Supplement dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in engineering.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to join their expanding curriculum team as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to move out of industry and into education, sharing valuable knowledge and experience with the next generation of engineering professionals. Equally, the role would suit an existing tutor or assessor seeking a new challenge.

You will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment up to Level 3 across mechanical engineering, maintenance, mechatronics and practical machining programmes, supporting learners in both workshop and classroom environments. Using a combination of practical, theoretical and digital teaching methods, you will help students develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed for successful careers within the engineering sector.
