Chichester College Group in the United Kingdom invites applications for a Maths Lecturer to support 16–19-year-old students in small groups or one-to-one sessions. You will help students improve their GCSE grade, build confidence and close gaps with targeted teaching, with planning and resources provided.

You will deliver GCSE maths, design schemes of work with others, monitor progress, and give feedback in an inclusive learning environment. Flexible options including part-time roles are welcome.

Are you able to support students to develop their Maths skills in small groups or with 1 to 1 support?

As our Lecturer you will support 16–19-year-old students needing to improve their maths GCSE grade. For many, it's a second or third attempt, and confidence can be low. We're looking for a skilled, patient, and encouraging Lecturer to help them turn that around.

You’ll deliver maths in small groups/ one-to-one sessions, working closely with the maths teachers to help students' close skills gaps and improve their exam technique. You’ll also help rebuild belief in their own ability, which is often just as important as the content itself. All planning, resources, and tracking documents will be provided.

As our Lecturer in Maths, you will:

• Deliver exciting and challenging lessons to a wide range of learners undertaking a re-sit of the GCSE curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with other lecturers and managers to design a scheme of work which stretches and challenges learners while underpinning recall techniques to provide the best possible outcomes for all learners.
• Monitor learner progress and provide both formative and summative feedback throughout the year. Ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way, in line with the concept of inclusive learning.
