Job summary

Chelmsford College is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Lecturer in ICT to teach primarily Level 2 and Level 3 ICT programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum design while ensuring high-quality lesson delivery. Ideal candidates will have teaching qualifications and relevant industry experience. The thriving team of Digital Technologies and Creative Industries are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic full-time ICT Lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 2 and Level 3 ICT programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department. The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes will play a part in this role.

The ideal candidate will need to have experience in teaching and assessing BTEC programmes. They will need experience of working in a relevant industry, teaching A level or T level, as well as curriculum design and delivery would be advantageous. The candidate would ideally have a teaching qualification, and should have an excellent record of teaching and learning practice and demonstrate the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way to support learners.

Starting salary will depend on qualifications, skills and experience. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
