Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS) seeks to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher with a passion for Computer Science, and enthusiasm for Design Technology and Engineering, to join our thriving school community.
In this role, you will teach Computer Science from Years 7 to 11, with the opportunity to teach A Level if suitably qualified. You will also support the teaching of Design Technology and Engineering at Key Stages 3 and 4.
This position is key within a school committed to girls and young women in STEM, preparing students for university and degree apprenticeships, and fostering partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with a strong academic background in a relevant subject and successful teaching experience at GCSE and/or A Level. We value qualities of kindness, compassion, integrity, and respect.
The DT/Engineering and Computer Science departments are vital to our mission to promote women in STEM, sharing a vision of excellence and passion for these subjects.
