Coleg y Cymoedd is seeking a lecturing post in the School of Foundation Learning. The role focuses on planning, teaching and managing learning across vocational courses from hair and beauty to sport and performing arts.

Descripción del empleo

Lecturing post in the School of Foundation Learning at Coleg y Cymoedd, a stepping stone for learners moving into mainstream post-16 courses. Duties centre on planning, teaching and managing learning across vocational courses and levels, from hair and beauty to sport and performing arts. Many learners have had a disrupted education or have additional learning needs, so a track record of pastoral and behaviour support matters. EWC registration and an enhanced DBS check are required before starting.

• Successful completion of all pre-employment checks before starting

Nice to have

• Experience in one of the school's vocational areas: hair and beauty, construction, catering, health and social care, sport, creative industries or performing arts
• Proven track record meeting the needs of learners with increased pastoral support needs, challenging behaviours, additional learning needs or non-traditional educational journeys
