North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe invites applications for a permanent Foundation Learning Lecturer in the SEND Department. Formación

• Relevant SEND qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and maths.
• At least two years' experience with SEND learners.
• Knowledge of EHCP processes.
• Experience embedding Functional Skills in teaching and learning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver teaching across Foundation Learning and employability programmes.
• Act as course tutor, providing pastoral support to a caseload.
• Monitor progress, attendance and behaviour.
• Write and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments and progress tracking.
• Embed English, maths, equality and British Values in teaching.
• Attend EHCP reviews and liaise with families and support services.
• Keep accurate student records, including eILPs, registers and assessment information.
• Support recruitment through open events, admissions and promotional activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and departmental targets.
• Work with colleagues to keep the learning environment inclusive and high quality.

This permanent Foundation Learning Lecturer post sits in the SEND Department at North Lindsey College, part of DN Colleges Group. The core work is teaching Foundation Learning and employability programmes to students with SEND, plus tutoring a caseload and embedding English and maths.
