Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain seeks a lecturer in electrical installation at Coleg Gwent to teach a diverse mix of learners, delivering technical and academic content and supporting learners' personal development within a team. The post is a full-time role (37 hours per week).

A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and a Level 3 electrical installation qualification are required or achievable within a set period.

Job description

A lecturer post in electrical installation at Coleg Gwent, covering the subject for a wide mix of learners. The core of the work is teaching technical and academic content while supporting learners' personal development and contributing to team working. The post is 37 hours a week, and the appointee must hold, or be willing to gain, a teaching qualification such as a PGCE alongside a Level 3 electrical installation qualification. Appointment depends on an Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration, which the candidate pays for.
