Job summary

Hartpury University and Hartpury College are seeking an engaging GCSE English and Functional Skills teacher to inspire learners and support their progress across a range of qualifications. You will deliver high-quality lessons, assess student achievement, and create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.

The role offers permanent full-time employment, 37 hours per week across a 40-week year, with a comprehensive benefits package

About You

• Hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE teaching qualification or equivalent
• Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
• Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
• Can inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds.
• Has experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English (or transferable experience).
• Is motivated to continuously improve and professional development
