Job summary

RNN Group in Rotherham is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installations to inspire the next generation of electricians. You'll deliver high-impact training across Level 1–3 study programmes, adult courses and apprenticeships, mentoring students and connecting real-world expertise with classroom learning.

The role includes collaboration with Curriculum Team Leaders, Technicians and other staff to achieve department goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Electrical Installations (e.g., 2365, 2357, 5357, Gold Card or equivalent).
• Desirable 2391, Inspection and Test & BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
• A teaching qualification and Assessor award (or the drive and willingness to work towards them while on the job).
• Level 2 English and Maths (or a commitment to achieve these with our support).

Responsibilities

• Inspire and mentor students using real-world expertise to set SMART goals.
• Deliver high-impact training across Level 1–3 study programmes, adult courses and apprenticeships.

Salary: £33,487 (Non-QTS) to £38,487 (QTS) per annum (pro-rata for part-time working), plus benefits

Department Info

You ll never be working in a silo. Based at our Rotherham campus, you ll be a vital part of a dedicated curriculum team.

You will be supported by a Curriculum Manager and work daily with Curriculum Team Leaders who understand the nuances of construction education. You ll also collaborate with a wide net of professionals including Technicians, Work Placement Officers, and Personal Development Coordinators all dedicated to one thing: the success of our learners.
