Job summary

RNN Group's North Notts College is seeking an experienced electrical assessor/tutor to inspire and train apprentices, turning industry expertise into a rewarding teaching career.

You will assess progress on-site, manage caseloads and build strong relationships with learners and employers, while collaborating with Curriculum Team Leaders. A comprehensive benefits package includes a local government pension, up to 44 days’ annual leave, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher.
• An A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• IQA Award is desirable.
• Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).

You Will Need To Be a Confident Assessor/tutor Who Can Engage With a Wide Variety Of Learners And Bring The Subject Matter To Life In a Creative And Engaging Way. You Will Also Need To Hold

Your role in the department

As part of the department of Work based Learning you will report directly to the Curriculum Team Leader/Curriculum Manager. You will play an active role in the curriculum team, working with key stakeholders such as Curriculum Team Leaders, Curriculum Manager, and Curriculum Lecturers etc.

You will also build good working relationships with other key stakeholders in apprenticeship programmes such as the Functional Skills Team.
