Job description

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Lecturer in Electrical to join our forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of electrical professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Delivering and managing high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in electrical studies within the construction sector.
  2. Assisting with curriculum development and quality improvement to meet industry standards and enhance the student experience.
  3. Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.
  4. Utilising both digital and face-to-face teaching tools (e.g., VLE) to maximize student engagement and success.
  5. Contributing to the academic community through scholarship, research, and professional development.
