Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a Computing Lecturer to join our Brighton team and deliver engaging lessons across computing and IT subjects. You will plan, teach, assess, and support learners to progress into employment or higher education, working in a temporary full-time capacity.

You should hold a degree in Computing/IT/CS or related field, have industry and/or teaching experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and digital teaching skills. A teaching qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree, higher education qualification, or professional qualification in Computing, IT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
  • Relevant industry experience and/or teaching experience in computing or IT.
  • Strong knowledge of current computing technologies and industry practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to use a range of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, would be desirable.

  • Creating engaging learning resources, practical activities, and assessments.

  • Supporting students to develop practical, employability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Keeping your subject knowledge and industry expertise up to date.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.
  • Supporting learners to progress into employment, apprenticeships, university, or further study.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computing Lecturer to join our team and inspire the next generation of IT and digital professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced computing professional and/or educator who is passionate about helping learners develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence they need to progress into employment, apprenticeships, higher education, or further training.

About the Role
