Job summary

St Helens College is recruiting a Lecturer in Computing on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves coordinating, delivering and assessing computing programmes across multiple levels to ensure excellent learner outcomes and high academic standards.

The successful candidate will teach across the curriculum at our Town Centre Campus and Knowsley Community College, contributing to quality improvement and learner wellbeing. Start date ASAP with interview date TBC.

Qualifications

  • A degree in the relevant subject area.
  • A Level 4 qualification in a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within a specified timeframe).
  • GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or equivalent).

LECTURER IN COMPUTING

Permanent, Full-Time: 36 Hours per Week

Salary: £28,839 - £38,697 per annum (Qualified Lecturing Scale)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Computing to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, training, and skills development. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing curriculum area with a strong track record of learner success.

As a Lecturer, you will coordinate, deliver, and assess a range of computing programmes across different levels, ensuring excellent learner outcomes and maintaining high academic standards.

The role will be based across our St Helens Town Centre Campus and Knowsley Community College.
