South Thames College is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support to students, aiming to maximize achievement and continuous improvement. The role involves supporting curriculum development, employer engagement, and learner skills development.
The successful candidate will create and implement innovative teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, delivering activities such as lectures, coursework, practicals, and fieldwork for Level 1 to Level 3 students.
Requirements include a teaching qualification (or working towards one), an Electrical Installation qualification (Level 3 or above), and recent UK teaching experience in Electrical Installation within an FE College. Evidence of outstanding teaching, learning, assessment, tutoring, and learner support is essential, along with a strong understanding of current frameworks for teaching, assessment, and quality assurance.
Proven industry experience in installing systems and equipment across various environments is required. Candidates should be up-to-date with current construction industry technologies and adaptable in teaching strategies to suit different learning abilities.
