We are looking for a Lecturer in Early Years/Health at South Essex College, Health and Science Department on a 15‑month fixed term. The role supports students in an FE environment, delivering NCFE Health units to a Level 2 cohort and supporting learning across safeguarding, communication and human growth.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver NCFE Health units at Level 2 (safeguarding, communication, human growth)
  • Support and guide students through their training in the department
  • Provide early‑years teaching expertise with a Level 3+ qualification
  • Contribute to curriculum development and assessment
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in early years education or equivalent
  • Experience with NCFE certificates (Level 2 & 3) and Health units
  • Experience working in an FE environment
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and practice
