Job summary

North Hertfordshire College is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer in Digital Technologies to join our Stevenage campus. You will deliver engaging Digital and IT programmes, including Foundation Degree-level content, to students with varying abilities and aspirations.

A programming background and relevant industry experience are highly valued. We welcome both experienced lecturers and professionals transitioning to teaching.

Qualifications

Programming background with current industry experience.
Experience delivering Digital/IT learning programmes.
Ability to inspire learners and adapt teaching methods.
Experience providing student guidance and support when needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality Digital/IT learning programmes.
Plan and teach lessons to inspire achievement and inclusivity.
Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback on student work.
Monitor learner progress and provide academic and pastoral support.
Lead programmes or courses to maintain high standards of behaviour and performance.
Embed Maths, English and digital skills within teaching and learning.
Support recruitment, enrolment, retention and progression activities.
Collaborate with parents, employers and student support services.
Analyze course performance data to drive improvements.
Provide Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to students.
