Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Leaving Care service in Gloucestershire. You will supervise a team of Personal Advisers and ensure active involvement of care leavers in assessment and pathway planning.

The role focuses on coordinating support across housing, health, education and employment services, and driving service improvement. A DBS check is required and the role runs for 12 months FTC.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Extensive experience with children and young people in statutory social care, Leaving Care.
• Experience leading Leaving Care Personal Advisers and creating a positive learning culture.

Responsabilités

• Ensure care leavers are actively involved in assessment, pathway planning and decision-making.
• Provide leadership, supervision and oversight to a team of Personal Advisers.
• Maintain oversight of Pathway Plans and statutory responsibilities for care leavers aged 16-25.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure coordinated support.
• Drive continuous improvement, performance and best practice across the service.
