Oxfordshire County Council is recruiting an experienced service lead to head a children’s social care team across Oxfordshire. You will provide inclusive leadership, support staff wellbeing, manage performance and resources, and ensure child plans progress within statutory timescales.

The role involves working with children, families and partner agencies, promoting restorative and relationship-based practice, and driving service development and quality assurance while managing the team’s budget

Formación

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England and knowledge of childcare legislation, guidance and regulation.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Experience with Family Help, child protection and multi-agency working in a statutory setting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of up to 10, ensuring inclusive leadership and staff development.
• Oversee referrals, assessment and safeguarding to meet statutory requirements.
• Monitor performance and quality, using audits and supervision to inform decisions.
