Job summary

Service Care is recruiting for a Personal Advisor to join our Leaving Care Team. You will manage a diverse caseload of care leavers, offering tailored guidance and practical support to help them move towards independent living.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS (Adults and Children) and a full UK driving licence, with a 12-week initial contract and 37 hours per week. Salary is paid per hour under PAYE or Umbrella.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships that empower young people to participate in decisions about their futures.
• Produce clear, concise reports and maintain accurate records.
• Recognise and respond to individual needs, promoting equality, inclusion and positive outcomes.

Pay: £19.32 PAYE / £24.59 Umbrella per hour

Contract: 12 weeks initially, with the possibility of extension

I’m currently recruiting for a Personal Advisor to join our client Leaving Care Team, supporting care leavers as they navigate the challenges of adult life and work towards achieving their goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting vulnerable young people who wants to make a genuine, lasting difference.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll manage a diverse and complex caseload of young people, providing tailored advice, guidance and practical support to help them move towards independent living.

You’ll work with care leavers from a range of backgrounds, including young people seeking asylum, those with unresolved immigration status and young people with disabilities.

Building trusting relationships will be at the heart of this role. You’ll help young people identify their needs, overcome barriers and access the right support to give them the best possible start in adult life.

• A commitment to safeguarding, promoting independence and achieving positive outcomes.

• An Enhanced DBS covering the Adults’ and Children’s Barred Lists.
