Job summary

Auto-scan is seeking a Leather Trimmer in Witham, Essex, to join an established team manufacturing luxury automotive interiors. You will combine traditional leather-handling skills with modern manufacturing standards, delivering flawless finishes for ultra-premium car programmes.

This role requires keen attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship. Immediate start, 3-month FTC, and a collaborative team environment with Monday–Friday hours and UK right-to-work adherence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leather automotive environment.
• Proficiency with leather handling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, work orders.
• Good time management to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of workplace health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet design specifications, tolerances and customer quality standards
• Be competent in maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to changing requirements at short notice
• Maintain a professional, accountable, proactive and helpful attitude at all times
• Have a strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude
• Perform rework or repairs on defective items
• Liaise with other technicians to achieve desired product finishes

The Role

In this role, you’ll combine traditional leather-handling skills with modern manufacturing standards, taking pride in delivering flawless finishes that exceed customer expectations.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:30am — 1630pm
