Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting on behalf of a luxury automotive client in Witham, Essex. The role involves manufacturing and finishing premium leather components to the highest standards, reading patterns, and maintaining quality throughout the production process.

You will work from an engineering facility in Witham, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with competitive hourly pay and potential overtime after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, upholstery, leathercraft, or automotive environments.
• Experience with automotive leather is highly desirable.
• Strong leather handling and finishing technique knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings and work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and drive for premium workmanship.
• Good time management and ability to meet production targets.
• Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team.
• Solid awareness of workplace health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

The Role

Working from our client's engineering facility in Witham, you will be responsible for ensuring luxury leather products are manufactured and finished to the highest standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet design specifications, tolerances, and exacting customer quality standards.
• Carry out rework and repairs on components where required.
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians to achieve exceptional product finishes.
• Adapt quickly to changing production requirements and priorities.
