Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments in Reading is seeking a Leasing Consultant (Sales & Resident Experience Consultant) to lead the property’s leasing efforts and elevate resident experience. You will engage prospective residents, conduct tours, and collaborate with the team to close leases while delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in customer service, are energetic, and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of transferable customer service experience.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily leasing activities to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming leasing office and engage prospective residents.
• Host tours of property models and ensure displays are inviting.
• Monitor local market conditions and share insights with the Property Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.
• Demonstrate strong administrative skills with attention to detail.

As one of our Leasing Consultant (Sales & Resident Experience Consultant),you are innovative and spend your day leading your team to drive the success of the property. You are enthusiastic and creative and you know what drives the market as well as your sales team! You are a people-loving soul, who is a home finding helper, and a hero!

So, here are a few of the things that we believe are essential to being the best Leasing Consultant (Sales & Resident Experience Consultant)there is:

• You have to LOVE people, all kinds of people!!
• You must be able to “seal the deal”! Expectations of at least a 20% closing ratio
• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents gather
• Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
• Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends
• Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing property and improving resident satisfaction
• Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written communications
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective, existing residents and your team members
• Have exceptional administrative skills with attention to detail

• You have at least two years of transferable experience in customer service
• You have the ability to adapt to new technologies
• You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language

Current anticipated base hourly salary range: $19.85 - $22.93 / base annual salary range: $41,300 - $47,700. Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law.
