Job summary

Quest Primary School in Greater London is seeking a caring Learning Coach to support the education, development and wellbeing of designated classes and groups of pupils. You will supervise and deliver planned learning activities with small groups and individual pupils, and provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.

You will also provide pastoral care, including support for children with SEND, encourage positive behaviour, and help maintain a safe and welcoming learning

Qualifications

• GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and maths.
• Good safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver planned learning activities with small groups and individual pupils.
• Give feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Help prepare resources and learning displays.
• Provide pastoral care for children with SEND.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming learning environment.
• Break and lunchtime supervision is part of the role.
