Job summary

University of Huddersfield invites applications for a Learning Technology Advisor in the Academy of Teaching, Learning and Skills (ATLaS). This full-time, permanent role supports academic staff in using Brightspace and other learning technologies, delivering training, and handling enquiries via TOPdesk.

The post reports to the LTA Team Leader within ATLaS. Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent in IT or Learning Technology, with proven VLE support experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in IT or Learning Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience supporting Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs).
• Experience collaborating with academic and professional services teams to support learning and teaching.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Hybrid working with on-campus duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support and training on learning technologies.
• Deliver training sessions relating to learning technologies and pedagogies.
• Respond to academic staff enquiries via TOPdesk.
• Develop staff capacity in technology-enhanced learning and related solutions.
