Join our mission to redefine digital education at the University of Leeds! We are on the lookout for a digitally capable Assistant Learning Technologist, driven to enhance teaching and learning through innovative technologies. If you're passionate about digital pedagogy and eager to contribute to a team that's shaping the future of education, your journey starts here.

Digital Education (DE) at the University of Leeds is at the forefront of transforming teaching and learning through innovative digital solutions. Our pioneering service is committed to enhancing the educational experience for students and faculty alike by integrating cutting‑edge technologies and pedagogical strategies. With a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity, the Digital Education Directorate develops and delivers a wide range of online courses and digital resources that extend learning opportunities beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Our work supports the University's strategic objectives to provide flexible, high‑quality education and to expand its global reach and impact. Through collaboration with academic departments and external partners, the service leverages the latest in digital education research to ensure that Leeds remains a leader in delivering exceptional, research‑informed teaching in a digital age.

The Digital Education Enhancement (DEE) team in DE is the cornerstone of our mission to revolutionise the student learning experience through innovative technology. Comprised of expert Learning Technologists stationed across various faculties, the DEE team acts as both practitioners and advisors, pioneering the integration of cutting‑edge technology with modern educational practices. Our approach is deeply rooted in robust learning theories, supported by a wealth of empirical evidence that guides the effective use of learning technologies. We strive to harmonise the latest in technology with evolving learning theories and the practical aspects of educational practice, fostering a collaborative environment with academic staff. This partnership aims to create a seamless, engaging, and enriching learning journey for students, making education more interactive, accessible, and impactful.
