Job summary

Wilberforce Sixth Form College is seeking a Learning Support Tutor to provide one-to-one and classroom-based support for students. The role is 35 hours per week during term time, with an actual salary on SFCA Support Staff Scale point 9 (£26,818 p.a.), equated to £22,084 p.a. for term-time posting.

You will help learners develop essential study skills, boost confidence, and achieve academic goals, working closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and create an inclusive learning environment.

Our Learning Support Team plays a crucial role in providing individual and in-class assistance to help learners overcome barriers and reach their potential. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Tutor to join us in making a real difference.

As a Learning Support Tutor, you will provide one-to-one and classroom-based support to students. You will help them develop essential study skills, boost their confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Working closely with teaching staff, you will adapt resources and strategies to create an inclusive learning environment for all.
