Job summary

Capital City College in London seeks a Learning Support Assistant Team Leader to drive key operational functions and support students with learning difficulties or disabilities. Role is term-time only (38 weeks/year) and 35 hours per week, full time, with DBS check required.

The role involves line management of Learning Support Staff and delivery of on-course assistance across the College, contributing to an inclusive, high-quality student experience.

Are you ready to make an impact at one of London's leading Further Education providers? Capital City College is looking for a skilled Learning Support Assistant Team Leader to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.

About The Role

This role is offered on a term-time only, (38 weeks per year), permanent basis. You will be working 35 hours per week (full time).

You will line manage Learning Support Staff and provide direct support to the team. You will be responsible for providing on-course assistance to students with learning difficulties or disabilities both in the classroom and around the College.

About You

We're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:

• You will have a level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Good general education in English, Maths and/or IT to level 2.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Confidence working with systems and processes, and good tracking and IT skills
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Experience of working with learners with learning/behavioural difficulties and disabilities aged 14 and up
• Most importantly, you'll be ready to make a positive contribution to our college community.
