Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge and experience of supporting the learning and development of pupils with behaviours and needs including ASC, ADHD, emotional dysregulation and Attachment Disorder.
• Experience of working with children with complex communication needs.
• Determination to create positive learning experiences for the most vulnerable children.
• Ability to support care, communication and pupil needs through intensive interaction.
• Understanding of adapting the environment, teaching style and resources and using frameworks like Sandwell Learning Ladder or Hierarchy of Independence.
• Commitment to teamwork and sharing good practice.
• Positive outlook, energy and good communication skills.
