Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the CORE team at our Worcester campus. The role involves providing tailored support to learners with diverse needs and contributing to individual learning plans and progress tracking.

You will work with lecturers and support staff in both specialist and mainstream settings, ensuring safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety requirements are met, with flexible travel across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with additional needs or SEND.
• Ability to work one-to-one and in groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one and group learning support for learners with additional needs.
• Support learners with autism, mental health conditions, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
• Collaborate with lecturers and staff to assess needs and plan interventions.
