Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the CORE team at our Worcester campus. You will provide tailored learning support to students with additional needs, helping them engage with lessons and progress toward their learning targets.

Flexibility to travel across sites is essential, and the role is part-time (30 hours per 36 weeks). You will work with lecturers and support staff, maintain records, and ensure safeguarding and inclusion are upheld in line

Qualifications

• Experience providing learning support to learners with additional needs.
• Ability to work with learners with autism, mental health or learning difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with lecturers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group learning support for learners.
• Assess needs, plan interventions, monitor progress and update plans.
• Maintain accurate records and promote learner attendance and achievement.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety in line with policy.
• Assist students in class with activities, spelling, punctuation, and maths.
