Job summary

Ormiston Beachcroft Academy in Westminster is seeking a Learning Support Professional to help pupils re-engage with learning and build confidence. You will support individuals and small groups in the classroom, deliver targeted interventions in literacy, speech and language, behaviour and PSHE, and assist with IEPs and safeguarding.

We’re looking for warm, clear communicators with good literacy and numeracy (level 2 English & Maths or equivalent), solid IT skills, and a passion for inclusive

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy skills (at least level 2 in English and Maths, or equivalent).
• Confident IT skills and an understanding of how children learn and develop.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs such as social, emotional and mental health needs, ASD or ADHD.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups in the classroom.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy, speech and language, behaviour and PSHE.
• Help pupils manage their behaviour and build positive relationships.
• Contribute to IEPs and support pupils’ emotional and social well-being.
• Work with families and other professionals, including through home visits where required.
