Cornwall College Stoke is seeking Learning Support Practitioners to contribute to our ALS provision for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will support individuals or small groups to achieve their learning goals and develop independent life and employability skills.

Roles include assisting learners with communication, behavioural, and social challenges, and helping them build independent study strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar support role, e.g., as a Teaching Assistant or carer.
• Commitment to inclusive learning and SEN understanding.
• Literacy and numeracy qualifications or willingness to work towards Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Support individual or small groups to achieve learning goals.
• Help develop independent study and employability skills.
• Assist learners with communication and emotional needs as required.
