Job summary

Cambridge Regional College is seeking Learning Support Mentors to join our Cambridge Campus, in a part time and fixed term role through to June 2027. You will work with teachers to raise learning outcomes and promote inclusion, self-esteem and independence for students across vocational areas.

As a mentor you will adapt resources to access the curriculum, support therapy interventions when required, and review learner needs with the Learning Support Manager.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND is desirable.
• Ability to work with students across vocational areas.

Responsibilities

• Empower learners to engage with the curriculum and achieve learning outcomes.
• Adapt resources to meet individual needs and promote inclusion.
• Support delivery of therapy interventions as directed by professionals.
• Review learner support needs with the Learning Support Manager.
• Attend mandatory training and development as required.
