Job summary

Cambridge Regional College is seeking a Learning Support Mentor on a full-time, term-time basis for the Cambridge Campus. You will work with teachers to raise learning attainment and promote social inclusion and independence among learners.

The role involves supporting students across vocational areas to access the curriculum and fulfil their potential, with duties including adapting materials and assisting with therapy interventions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Empathy and ability to support learners with diverse needs.
• Strong communication with students, teachers and guardians.
• Ability to adapt resources and materials for accessible learning.

Responsibilities

• Empower learners to achieve personalised learning outcomes.
• Adapt classroom resources to ensure access to learning materials.
• Support therapy interventions as directed by professionals.
• Work with learners to review support needs and progress.
• Undertake training as agreed with Learning Support Manager.
