Job summary

Richard Taunton Sixth Form College in Southampton seeks a Learning Support Assistant to join the Pre-16 team. You will work with teachers and student services to deliver literacy and study skills, both in class and in targeted sessions, supporting individual students and groups.

Ideal candidates are well-motivated, highly organised, and have safeguarding knowledge; required is English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent. Term-time, part-time hours on a permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering literacy and study skills to pre-16 students.
• Strong motivation, organisation and reliability.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent.
