Job summary

Yorkshire Rose College in Doncaster is seeking a Learning Support Coordinator to ensure high-quality learning support across all sites and learning activities. You will coordinate timetables, absence planning, and deployment of learning support resources alongside the college leadership team.

You will work with Curriculum Managers, contribute to self-assessment, provide monthly reports, support staff planning, and assist with examinations and access arrangements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Experience with EHCPs and knowledge of EHCP processes
• Ability to work with 16–25-year-olds in an educational setting

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-quality learning support across all sites and activities
• Oversee day-to-day absence planning to ensure learners receive support
• Deploy learning support resources with the leadership team
• Contribute to the college self-assessment process
• Provide monthly reports and staff performance information to senior leaders
• Contribute to staff planning to match learner support needs
• Monitor effectiveness of learning support provision
• Collaborate with Curriculum Managers to coordinate timetables
• Support coordination of examinations and access arrangements
• Attend college events and manage staff timetables with the curriculum team
• Support curriculum developments and innovations
• Create and maintain administrative systems
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Line manage support staff as required
• Undertake staff briefings and work with HR on absences
