SCL is seeking a dedicated educational professional to support learners toward their academic goals, delivering guidance and facilitating independent learning. The role emphasizes inclusive teaching, collaboration with teaching colleagues, and progression evidence for funding and outcomes.

You will engage across remote, classroom, 121, or on-site settings, tailoring support plans to individual needs and ensuring safeguarding and well-being throughout the learner journey.

Qualifications

• English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent, or willingness to work toward Level 2.
• Experience with learners with SEND in education settings.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office and Teams proficiency.
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets set by teaching staff.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both spoken and written.
• Good understanding of safeguarding in post-16 education settings.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet learner needs across remote, classroom, 121 or on-site formats.
• Develop and evidence progression toward learner targets and outcomes.
• Provide wellbeing and pastoral support to learners as required.
• Create tailored support plans based on English/Maths and other assessments.
• Collaborate with delivery teams and external professionals to support learners.
• Maintain thorough documentation to evidence funding usage and progress.
• Support CPD activities and uphold safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Equality and Diversity.
• Occasional travel from base site to meet learner and business needs.
