Job summary

SCL is seeking a dedicated educator to support post-16 learners, guiding classes, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver engaging teaching. The role includes providing wellbeing and safeguarding focus, and contributing to EHCP considerations.

Candidates should have strong English and Maths, SEND experience, and IT proficiency with Office/Teams. Occasional travel to meet learner needs and CPD participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with learners with SEND and post-16 education.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet learner needs, including remote, classroom, 121 or on-site settings.
• Evidence progression to meet learner targets and learning goals.
• Create tailored support plans based on assessments and needs.
• Provide wellbeing and pastoral support as required.
• Ensure high performance and quality standards across the learning programme.
• Collaborate with internal/external professionals to support learners.
