Job summary

Options Barton School, part of Outcomes First Group, seeks a Learning Support Assistant to help pupils access learning and build confidence. You will work with teachers, therapists and a supportive team to provide continuous, encouraging support in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will support pupils individually and in small groups, foster positive relationships, monitor progress, and help with classroom preparation. GCSE C/4 in Maths and English is required.

What you will be doing

  • Previous experience in education or an SEN setting is desirable but not essential-we value the right attitude and a genuine commitment to making a difference. Options Barton School is a specialist school for children and young people with autism, aged 5 to 19. Following extensive development and refurbishment works, we are expanding our team in preparation for our next intake of students.
