TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant to support secondary-aged students with additional learning needs in Caerphilly.

This full-time, long-term temporary role offers tailored learning activities, classroom assistance, and positive behaviour management in a specialist provision. The successful candidate will have experience with ALN, preferably a TA or ALN qualification, and strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and support staff.

Are you a patient and enthusiastic ALN Learning Support Assistant looking for your next full-time, long-term opportunity in Caerphilly?

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will work within the specialist provision, supporting secondary-aged students with a range of additional learning needs through tailored learning activities, classroom support and positive behaviour management.

The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will have:

• A relevant Teaching Assistant or ALN qualification is desirable
• Experience supporting children or young people with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• An understanding of positive behaviour management strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting students
