Job summary

The District CE Primary School in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, is advertising two part-time roles: Learning Support Assistant Level 2 and a Midday Supervisor, fixed-term for 12 months, on the NJC SCP 3 pay scale. The positions run across term-time with a total of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include supporting learning alongside teachers, supervising lunchtimes, promoting pupil wellbeing, and upholding safeguarding policies within an inclusive environment.

Working pattern

Part time: This position covers two key areas of school life:

  • Learning Assistant Level 2: 27.5 hours per week, including a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break.
  • Midday Supervisor: 2.5 hours per week.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
