Job summary

Tudor CE Primary School in Sudbury is seeking a dedicated assistant to support class teachers and children across lessons. The role is temporary in the first instance, starting January 2027, and part-time (3 days per week, 39 weeks per year).

You will work with individual children or small groups to help them access the curriculum, provide emotional and social support, and help create a warm, encouraging learning environment. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist class teachers and pupils in lessons.

• Provide emotional and social support to pupils.
• Assist with break and lunch duty cover.
