Job summary

Huntingtower Community Primary Academy in the Priory Federation of Academies Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant on a temporary contract running to August 2028. You will support pupils to access the curriculum in and outside the classroom, including those with special needs, in both academic and social development.

Working hours are part-time with morning and afternoon sessions as specified; lunch cover may be paid monthly.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A to C.
• Level 3 qualification or working towards one.
• Experience of working with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to access the curriculum in and outside the classroom
• Support pupils with special needs, academically and socially
• Work morning sessions, 8.50am to 12.10pm, and afternoon sessions, 1.10pm to 3.15pm, daily
• Provide lunch cover for some pupils, with additional hours claimed monthly
