Job summary

Ewell Castle School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our teams in Prep or Senior School, supporting pupils with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with teachers to help students access the curriculum and build confidence in their abilities.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. This role offers the chance to contribute to a nurturing educational environment and develop skills across age groups from 4 to 19.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working with children of varying ages and abilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, empathy and understanding towards learners with diverse needs.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while being proactive in offering support.
• Basic organisational skills to assist with classroom activities or resources.
• Willingness to learn new strategies for supporting student development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils’ learning needs in the prep or senior school settings.
• Assist individual students or small groups to access the curriculum.
