Job summary

Ludgershall Castle Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team from September 2026. The role supports learning in groups or 1:1, helps with self-esteem and behaviour, and may include personal care where required.

You will assist the Teacher, support literacy and maths delivery, help set up equipment and maintain a hygienic learning environment. The appointment is permanent, with 27.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils learning, in groups or 1:1.
• Support pupils' self-esteem, inclusion and behavioural development.
• Provide physical/personal care to pupils when required.
• Support the Teacher/s.
• Support the curriculum by assisting with literacy and mathematics delivery.
• Assist with setting up, storing and retrieving teaching aids and equipment; maintain hygiene of the teaching environment; administer minor First Aid under supervision.
