Exeter College in Exeter is seeking a Learning Support assistant to aid students with learning and emotional difficulties, helping them thrive in class and gain independence. Some students may need one-on-one or small group support, and personal care assistance may be required.

This permanent, term-time role offers 18–30 hours weekly across 38 weeks per year, with lessons from 8:30am to 4:40pm, and benefits including generous holidays and a strong pension.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above).
• A positive, patient, and caring approach.
• A desire to empower and support young people.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning/emotional difficulties in the classroom.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Assist with personal care and/or physical support if needed.
