Job summary

St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, a Voluntary Academy, in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, invites applicants for a permanent part-time role. The post involves 13 hours per week during term time, providing classroom support across all age groups and abilities, including 1:1 and small-group work.

You will work with teachers to plan, differentiate and implement intervention strategies, promoting inclusion and the wellbeing of pupils. DBS checks and safeguarding will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children across age groups and abilities.
• Ability to support teachers and intervention planning.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Support Teachers to enthuse students, inspiring learning and progress.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and intervention strategies.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support and monitor effectiveness.
• Promote student well-being and establish supportive relationships with pupils.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
