Job summary

Mainstream Primary School in Bristol is seeking a Classroom Assistant to support learning across Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. This role offers an ASAP start and a chance to work with dedicated teachers to promote a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will engage with children, help deliver creative lessons, and support Maths, English, Geography and PE across the curriculum. Previous experience with children is desirable; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Patient and motivated to shape and heighten learning for young children.
• Previous working experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare, or similar classroom role.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the curriculum in Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2.
• Assist with the delivery of creative and well-planned lessons.
• Engage, support and develop learning, and build a rapport with children.
• Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment across Maths, English, Geography and PE.
