TeacherActive Limited in Liverpool is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support secondary students across KS3/KS4 and work with teaching staff to deliver classroom assistance. The role focuses on helping pupils engage with learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and supporting students with additional needs where required.

The position is temporary with an immediate start, paid via PAYE, and offers daily pay of £108–£110, along with CPD opportunities and dedicated consultant support

Formación

• Experience working with children or young people in a secondary school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teaching staff.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Liverpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to provide classroom support, assist students with their learning, encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain engaged in their education.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in a secondary school or educational setting
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs is desirable
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teaching staff
• A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to supporting young people
